KS2 Week 3

During this session children will understand that all adults who care for them will always prioritise their needs. Adults can do this in a number of ways. Pupils will explore three different strategies for adding: partitioning, rounding and adjusting equations by looking for landmark numbers and the compensation strategies. By the end of the session, pupils will have developed flexibility with numbers by knowing they are composed in a number of ways and be decomposed differently to solve equations efficiently.
